MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (KFGO) – A man died Thursday afternoon after he was struck by a dump truck in a construction zone in Maple Grove.
State troopers responded to eastbound Highway 610 and Maple Grove Parkway at around 2. It happened in a closed construction zone. The worker, who was on foot, died at the scene. He was a 25-year-old man from Wisconsin.
It was the second worker death in a construction area within 48 hours.
A worker was hit and killed by a construction vehicle in Burnsville on Wednesday morning on Interstate 35W.
