FARGO (KFGO-KVRR) — The City of Fargo is working to install new fiber lines with two fiber-optic internet companies.
City of Fargo Division Engineer Kevin Gorder says the new fiber lines will provide lower costs and better access for customers.
“It’s another option, you know, our residents are going to have another option as to a choice on an internet provider,” Gorder said. “Choice is always good, you know, the more choices you have, you can find something that fits you best. And whether it’s existing or new, you’re going to have those choices now as this new installation is occurring.”
Some residents may be able to use the new providers within the next two months.
