Tia Muller (Cherry Fire Dept.)
GILBERT, Minn. – A northern Minnesota fire department is remembering one of its members.
Tia Muller of Chisholm, 26, died in an ATV crash.
Gilbert police say the crash happened Friday at Iron Range Off Highway Vehicle State Recreation area.
Muller was found pinned beneath the ATV by another group of riders Saturday morning. The driver was airlifted to Essentia Health in Duluth with serious injuries. Police believe the crash occurred Friday evening but wasn’t discovered until the next morning.
Muller was a volunteer with the Cherry Fire Department.
