MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – A Minot woman has been arrested and charged after her four-month-old tested positive for methamphetamine.
Minot Police say Brenna Jones, 35, was arrested at her home on a warrant for endangerment of a child, a Class C felony.
Late last month, Ward County Social Services requested a hair follicle test of the baby due to suspected drug exposure. The test was positive and the child was removed from the home.
During questioning, police say Jones denied that she had exposed the baby to drugs.
Investigators say they later used a search warrant to test Jones and she was also positive for meth.
