car driven by Cynthia Diahn (special to KFGO News)
FORMAN, N.D. (KFGO) – A Fargo woman is in jail in Wahpeton after a pursuit late Wednesday night that covered parts of Richland and Sargent Counties.
Sargent County Sheriff Travis Paeper says a Richland County deputy tried to pull over a car on I-29 after a complaint of an erratic and potentially drunk driver.
The driver didn’t stop and headed west on State Highway 13. A Sargent County deputy deployed stop sticks near the Milnor exit, flattening two tires. The car continued westbound and the driver then turned south onto Highway 32 when Paeper says one of his deputies was able to deflate the other two tires.
The driver, 29-year-old Cynthia Diahn, drove on the rims for another 4 miles before she was stopped.
Diahn was arrested for DUI test refusal, driving under suspension, fleeing, reckless endangerment and causing damage to highways.
