FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man has been sentenced for shooting and killing another man.
Tyreik Taylor-Roberts was sentenced Tuesday to 5 years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter. A murder charge was dropped.
Last September, Taylor-Roberts and 25-year-old Jalab Moses got into an argument in an apartment complex parking lot south of NDSU. Taylor-Roberts shot Moses in the chest. He claimed it was self-defense.
Taylor-Roberts will have to serve 5 years of probation after his release.
