BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO/KVRR) — Minnesota Vikings fans in North Dakota may soon be able to show their support for the team with custom license plates.
The Vikings Foundation is working with the Department of Transportation to make custom license plates similar to those available in Minnesota. However, they need at least 50 people to sign up for the plates or they won’t be made.
Those interested have to fill out an application for a custom plate, which is also available on the Vikings website, and mail a check. The first fifty applicants will be given a special gift from the foundation as a thank you for their support.
There is no word yet on what these license plates will look like.
