WILLMAR, Minn. (KFGO KWLM) – One person suffered burns in a house fire in Willmar early Wednesday morning.
The Willmar Fire Department says just before 1 a.m., they were called to the house just south of the Kandiyohi County Fairgrounds. Flames were coming out of several windows.
Firefighters learned the man was already at the Willmar hospital with burn injuries. His name has not been released. No firefighters were injured. With the help of crews from Spicer and Kandiyohi, they battled the blaze from the exterior,
Fire crews were on the scene until 6 a.m. The Minnesota Fire Marshal’s office is helping investigate the cause of the fire.
