FARGO (KFGO) – Customs and Border Protection now says one of eight men who was detained following a traffic stop in Fargo on Tuesday was released after it was determined that he was in the country legally.
The seven who were arrested, all from Mexico, were between the ages of 21 and 60. As KFGO News first reported, border patrol agents and Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers made the arrests during what was described as a “targeted” operation. The location of the traffic stop and where the men are being held has not been released.
A spokesman says those arrested are considered a public safety risk.
