ST. PAUL, Minn. – Education Minnesota, the largest teacher’s union in the state, is pleased that the Class of 2024 had the highest graduation rate on record.
The overall graduation rate was just over 84%.
Union President Denise Specht says students overcame many disruptions and distractions.
The data shows year-to-year graduation rate increases for American Indian, Asian, Black, Latino, and White student groups, as well as low-income families, English-language learners, and students receiving special education services.
