FERGUS FALLS, MINN. (KFGO) – One person died after crashing with a semi on I-94 in Fergus Falls.
State troopers say that shortly before 8 p.m. Monday, an SUV driven by a 32-year-old woman from Saint Francis rear-ended a semi-truck near mile marker 56 by the Fergus Falls Landfill, killing her. Troopers say the road was wet at the time of the crash. The semi driver was not hurt.
The identity of the victim is expected to be released later on Tuesday.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Fergus Falls Police and Fire Departments and the Otter Tail, Grant, and Clay County Sheriff’s Departments.
