WASHINGTON (KFGO) – Minnesota Congresswoman Angie Craig is running for U.S. Senate.
Craig will seek the seat being left vacant by fellow Democrat Tina Smith who is not seeking re-election next year.
Craig was elected to the U.S. House in 2018. Before that, she worked in communications and human resources.
Former Sen. Al Franken and Attorney General Keith Ellison are both endorsing Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, who announced her candidacy earlier this year.
Former Republican Minnesota Senate Minority Leader Melissa Lopez-Franzen is also running.
