
Cole Meadows (Clay Co. Jail)
MOORHEAD (KFGO) โ Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting has released the name of a burglary suspect from Anoka, Minnesota who led state troopers and deputies on a pursuit east of Moorhead Monday afternoon.
Empting says 23-year-old Cole Meadows of Spring Lake Park was headed west on I-94. He was wanted for a burglary in Anoka and was thought to have a gun. Stop sticks were deployed twice during the high-speed pursuit. Meadows stopped on State Highway 336, got out of the car and ran. He was caught with the help of K9 Cash, who later found a handgun.
Meadows was taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo and is now in the Clay County Jail facing several charges. He will eventually be returned to Anoka County. Two passengers in the car were released.
In addition to the patrol, Clay County deputies were assisted by Glyndon and Dilworth police, Glyndon Fire and Rescue, Sanford Ambulance and Red River Regional Dispatch.
