Abby Fredrickson
MOORHEAD (KFGO) – A woman charged with being an accomplice to a drive-by murder in south Moorhead Sunday is a psychiatrist.
A company representative confirmed that 32-year-old Abby Fredrickson of Moorhead is a doctor for Chicago-based Array Behavioral Care, providing telehealth psychiatric services. Prior to working for Array Behavioral Care, Fredrickson spent time with Essentia Health in Duluth and Prairie St. John’s in Fargo.
CEO Ty Hegland says Fredrickson has not been associated with Prairie St. John’s since January 2022.
Fredrickson graduated from Central Michigan University’s College of Medicine and her psychiatry residency was at the University of North Dakota.
A social media post from Central Michigan University says Fredrickson is a native of West Ishpeming, a city in Marquette County, Michigan where she and 35-year-old Jerome Thomas III were arrested Monday.
Thomas is charged in the murder of 39-year-old James Hamilton who was shot to death in a driveway. Thomas is also charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting at another person.
The Array Behavioral Care representative had no comment about the charge against Fredrickson.
Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting says his office will make arrangements to return Fredrickson and Thomas to Moorhead to face the charges.
