BRAINERD, Minn. (KFGO) – A bus driver in northern Minnesota suffered a serious medical condition while driving about 30 kids home from school Tuesday afternoon.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office says the children noticed the driver was not following the bus route, and one of them used the bus radio to call for help. The driver stopped the bus, and deputies, EMS, and another bus responded.
The man was taken to a hospital by ambulance. The children were either released to their parents at the scene, or taken home by the other bus.
The man’s condition hasn’t been released.
