CENTER CITY, Minn. – Chisago County prosecutors say a Mora woman was high on meth when she caused a crash near Rush City that left seven people injured.
Ashlee Klapperick, 36, is charged with six counts of criminal vehicular operation in connection with Friday’s crash. Sheriff’s deputies say Klapperick crossed the centerline and collided head-on with an SUV.
Klapperick and two children in her car were taken to the hospital and a four-year-old boy remains in critical condition.
The SUV driver and three child passengers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
