Third Annual Back Roads Art Crawl
Vergas, MN
Come to Vergas on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 10-5 for the Third Annual Back Roads
Art Crawl. There will be ten stops this year featuring 14 artists. Register for a door prize at
each stop. Maps are available on the Vergas Community Club’s Facebook page.
Two new participants have been added to the itinerary this year, both located in downtown
Vergas. Jennifer Ditterich’s digital art will be available at Ditterich Mercantile. Amber Pausch
will sell her Wildfire Fur products in her downtown location.
Returning artists include Carol Albright (clay sculpture); Bayleigh Lautenschlauger (True Blue
Flower Co); Leona Rogers (paper flowers); Jody Marquardt (metal work); Dan Modrow (Turning
Nature wood products and possibly fresh apples from the orchard); Helena Johnson, Kris
Domier, Marlys Buchholtz, Karla Urbach, Patrick Shannon and Luke Fugere (Forest Edge
Gallery); Butch Pavlacky (Lost Highway Pottery); and Brianna Alley (Brianna Mae Jewelry
Designs). There will be something for everyone’s tastes.
The Vergas Arts Club, which coordinates the Back Roads Art Crawl, invites you to enjoy
traveling the country roads; perhaps enjoying a meal or two at Otter Coffee, the Loon’s Nest,
Billy’s, the Blackboard, or Spanky’s. There may even be time enough to shop the other
downtown stores.
