OLIVIA, Minn. (KFGO-KWLM) – A Willmar woman is under arrest after police say she accidently dropped a bag full of meth in an Olivia convenience store.
Olivia police say they got a call from Casey’s General Store Wednesday after a staff member found a baggie of suspected drugs on the floor of the store. Officers were given a baggie containing a crystalline substance which tested positive for methamphetamine. The bag weighed just under 26 grams.
Police reviewed security video from the store and spotted a woman who had unknowingly dropped the baggie. She was later identified as a 59-year-old-Willmar woman, and she was arrested in Willmar a few hours later and taken to the Renville County Jail. She faces charges of 2nd Degree Possession of a controlled substance.
