SARGENT COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – A Cayuga, North Dakota man was injured and charged after he crashed his pickup on a minimum maintenance road last Wednesday night.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the pickup driven by 53-year-old Knowell Gilbert drove off the road into the south ditch, rolled, and came to rest on the ice of Lake Tewauon.
Gilbert was transported by ambulance to the Oakes Community Hospital in Oakes, North Dakota.
He was charged with DUI, driving without a license, and no insurance.
Two passengers in the pickup were not injured.
