FARGO (KFGO-KVRR) – A Fargo man is charged for allegedly breaking into Dairy Queen along 52nd Ave. S in Fargo on New Year’s Eve and causing thousands of dollars in damage.
Court records say police were called to the business after an alarm went off.
24-year-old Keaton Nowacki allegedly told officers he drove to Dairy Queen where he had been employed. Nowacki said the doors were unlocked so he went in and destroyed everything. His LinkedIn profile says he had been a manager at the restaurant since 2021.
Nowacki is charged with felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor criminal trespass.
Dairy Queen has reopened but is drive-thru only.
