WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar announced her “Stop Campus Hazing Act” has been signed into law by President Biden.
The law is intended to improve the reporting and prevention of hazing on college campuses.
Klobuchar says the new law requires colleges to include hazing incidents in their annual campus safety report, and establish a campus-wide program to educate students about the dangers of hazing.
Klobuchar worked with Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana to move the bill through the Senate and the House.
