ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Energy Assistance Program still has plenty of funding available to help people struggling to pay their heating or utility bills.
Commerce Department spokesman Michael Schmitz says they received $112 million last month from the federal government and more money could be coming in future legislation. Schmitz says $40 million dollars in grants have been provided to about 68,000 households so far this season.
More information and applications are available on the Department of Commerce website.
