
EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (KFGO) โ Faulty wiring is to blame for a fire that displaced residents of an East Grand Forks home.
East Grand Forks Assistant Fire Chief Ryan Swang says crews were called to the home around 10:15 a.m. Thursday where they could see light smoke coming from the eves of the house.
Firefighters found the small fire in the attic and quickly put it out. There is fire damage in the attic and light smoke damage throughout the house.
The Red Cross is assisting the residents.
East Grand Forks Police, Altru Ambulance, and East Grand Forks Water and Light assisted at the scene.
