FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of having as a gun as a convicted felon.
Fargo police arrested Kadar Pearson, 20, while investigating a shots fired report near The Arbors at McCormick Park apartment complex on 23rd St. S in June. Pearson was wearing a sweatshirt and ski mask, even though the temperature was in the mid-70s. He ran and tossed a pistol under a vehicle. The gun had been reported stolen in Fargo.
At the time, Pearson was an inmate on escape status with North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for felony convictions of possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and theft of a firearm.
Pearson remains in the Cass County Jail. Sentencing is scheduled for March.
