FARGO (KFGO) – Federal gun charges are now filed for a man arrested after a fatal June shooting in south Fargo.
Amire Logan faces four counts related to having firearms as a felon and drug addict, and one count of removing the serial number of a gun.
Logan was arrested after the shooting death of Zion Brooks outside The Arbors apartment complex. Investigators later learned that Brooks also had a gun.
Court records say Logan was found in possession of two pistols, two shotguns, a rifle, and ammunition. The state charges have been dropped.
If convicted, Logan faces up to 15 years in prison for each count.
