CASS COUNTY, MINN. – Authorities say a pilot avoided serious injuries after their plane crashed on a northern Minnesota lake during a proficiency flight on Tuesday afternoon.
The Minnesota DNR says the crash occurred just after 2 p.m. on Inguadona Lake in Cass County. Officials said the pilot was safe and was checked by emergency responders at the scene.
Investigators are trying to determine why the plane went down.
