PALISADE, Minn. (KFGO) – A Minnetonka man and woman are dead and 7 others were injured after a four-car crash in Aitkin County Friday. The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. at an intersection on Highway 169.
The State Patrol says a northbound SUV collided with another SUV pulling a trailer that had skipped a stop sign. Two passengers in the SUV with a trailer were killed; 61-year-old Elizabeth Baldwin
and 92-year-old Marlo Baldwin. Elizabeth was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver of their SUV, 61-year-old Roger Walker, has life-threatening injuries.
The other suv driver, 44-year-old Lisa Melberg, and 11-year-old Carly Melberg, 14-year-old Haley Melberg, and 18-year-old Robert Davidson all have life-threatening injuries and were flown to the Hennepin County Medical center. 15-year-old Daisie Melberg and an 18-year-old Ally Melberg had non-life threatening injuries.
The drivers of the other two cars involved were not injured.
