GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – Grand Forks firefighters were called to a large hazmat spill Tuesday shortly after 5 p.m. at 440132nd Avenue South.
A semi carrying Ammonium Bisulfite tipped over on its side. Crews worked to dam the product, preventing it from entering the storm sewer system.
Grand Forks Public Works department was called to apply sand to the spilled product and a contractor was called to clear up the project.
No injuries were reported.
