Pelican Rapids, Minn (KFGO) – One person died in a crash in Otter Tail County Wednesday.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash shortly before 9 p.m. in Dunn Township, near Pelican Lake.
When first responders arrived, life-saving measures were performed but were unsuccessful. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle died at the scene. Alcohol is believed to be a factor. The victim’s identity is being held pending family notification.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Pelican Rapids Police Department, Pelican Rapids Ambulance, the Pelican Rapids Fire Department, Life Link, the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, the Minnesota State Patrol, and the Barnesville Police Department.
