
EMERADO, N.D. (KFGO) โ A 29-year-old Grand Forks man suffered serious injuries when his motorcycle rolled on U.S. Highway 2 near the Grand Forks Air Force base around 10:15 p.m. Monday.
The Highway Patrol says a trooper clocked the motorcycle going 97 miles an hour and caught up to it to make a traffic stop.
When the trooper activated his emergency lights, the motorcycle drifted into the median and rolled. The driver, Cooper Augsten, was ejected from the bike.
Augsten was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. He was wearing a helmet. Charges against him are under investigation.
The Grand Forks County Sheriffโs Office, Emerado Fire, Emerado Ambulance, and Altru Ambulance assisted the Highway Patrol.
