KATHRYN, N.D. (KFGO) – Two people were injured after a UTV rollover crash, approximately 8 miles southwest of Kathryn, yesterday afternoon around 4:30.
30-year-old Clay Hatlewick of Yipsilanti, ND was driving the UTV in a muddy field in LaMoure County when he lost control and it rolled, coming to rest on its top. Hatlewick was not transported by EMS. Passenger 36-year-old Tiffany Winson of Jamestown was transported to Mercy Hospital in Valley City by Barnes County Ambulance for serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Neither rider was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Hatlewick was charged with DUI and Criminal Vehicular Injury. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
