FARGO (KFGO) – The cause of a fire last week that heavily damaged a Fargo restaurant has been determined.
Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson says the July 18 blaze at Mango’s Mexican and American Grill at 2901 Main Avenue started in the kitchen where grease caught fire and extended into the exhaust-ductwork to the roof. Damage is estimated at $490,000.
The restaurant is expected to be closed for an extended period of time.
