Lainey Wilson is living the dream — not only is she rocking the country music charts, but she might also be gracing our TV screens again! Lainey attended the star-studded premiere of the Twisters movie this week, proudly featured alongside country giants like Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, and Tyler Childers on the Twisters: The Album soundtrack. Catch her song “Out of Oklahoma” to set the perfect stormy vibe.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight during the premiere, Lainey dropped some serious hints about returning to Yellowstone for the second half of Season 5 this fall. Without spilling all the beans, she teased that it’s “good news,” though she’s still working on the schedule hurdles. Maybe a wink-wink nudge-nudge from her swayed the jury?
Her role as Abby had fans swooning, especially with that budding romance with ranch worker Ryan, played by Ian Bohen. Although Lainey hasn’t gotten her hands on the new scripts yet, Taylor Sheridan is known to keep those pretty tight-lipped. Fingers crossed that we’ll see more of Abby and Ryan’s swoon-worthy storyline when the show resumes on November 5th!
Adding to her whirlwind week (pun intended), Lainey gushed over how special it was to contribute to the Twisters movie soundtrack. Calling it a “full-circle” moment from her childhood memories of the original Twister, it’s clear she’s riding high on the success wave. Stay tuned to see if this country star will indeed be back in the Dutton Ranch drama!
