Body of missing man from White Earth reservation located

WHITE EARTH, Minn. (KFGO) – The search for a missing man on Minnesota’s White Earth Reservation has ended with the discovery of his body.

Tribal police say the body of 38-year-old Michael Annette was found on Saturday. Annette had been missing since July 2.

Tribal police, the Becker County Sheriff’s Office and Bureau of Criminal Apprehension conducted the search for Annette.

The case remains under investigation. An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death.
