BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – The numbers are in from the latest Click-It or Ticket campaign in North Dakota.
The Department of Transportation says between May 1 and June 2, 4,296 citations were issued.
The majority of the citations were for seatbelt violations with around 2,871 tickets issued.
Other citations include 604 speeding tickets, 331 citations for other traffic violations like disobeying traffic signals and equipment violations, 124 uninsured motorists, 145 suspended or revoked license violations, 16 tickets for distracted driving, 22 warrants served, and six DUI arrests.
