Turnberg, Strand sworn-in to Fargo City Commission; Kolpack selected Deputy Mayor

FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) — Commissioners John Strand and Michelle Turnberg were sworn into office at Monday’s City Commission meeting and Commissioner Denise Kolpack was selected to be the new Deputy Mayor.

Last month, Strand was re-elected to his final four-year term as a city commissioner, and Turnberg was elected to her first term.

Turnberg fills a seat previously held by Arlette Preston.

Strand and Turnberg’s terms began July 1.
