
FARGO (KFGO) โ One incumbent was re-elected while another was defeated in the Fargo City commission race. Former TV anchor Michelle Turnberg was the top vote-getter in the seven candidate contest and was elected to a four-year term.
Commissioner John Strand was given a third and final term.
Commissioner Arlette Preston, who also served as deputy mayor, came in fourth in the voting behind former former Republican House Majority Leader Al Carlson.
Preston had served earlier on the commission and is a former Fargo School Board member.
