
Travis Bell (Grand Forks County Correctional Center)
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A Fordville, North Dakota man was arrested after a crash near the Grand Forks Airport. It was reported shortly after 6:30 p.m. Monday at U.S. Highway 2 and Airport Road, about 3 miles west of Grand Forks.
The Highway Patrol says an SUV was sitting at a red light at the intersection when a pickup driven by 43-year-old Travis Bell struck the SUV from behind.
The driver of the SUV, a 26-year-old woman from the Grand Forks Air Force Base, was taken by ambulance to Altru Hospital. A passenger in the SUV, a 5-year-old in a car seat, was airlifted to a Fargo hospital, both with serious injuries.
Bell, the pickup driver, was arrested for criminal vehicular injury.
