CASSELTON, N.D. (KFGO) – A 43-year-old Omaha, Nebraska man suffered serious injuries after his pickup was hit by a train a mile west of Casselton Wednesday morning.
The highway patrol says the man failed to yield at the marked crossing and the BNSF train hit the front of his pickup. The pickup spun, hit the crossing sign, and came to a rest in the ditch.
The man was taken to Sanford in Fargo. He’s been arrested for distracted driving, DUI, open container, and illegal possession of THC.
