FARGO (KFGO) – A woman was struck by a pickup under the I-29 overpass on 13th Avenue South near West Acres Mall in Fargo shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the 41-year-old Fargo woman was jaywalking across the avenue when she was hit by the pickup, driven by 31-year-old Andin Schaffer, of Moorhead.
The victim received serious life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Hospital by ambulance.
Andin remained on the scene after the crash and was arrested on an outstanding Cass County warrant for assault.
