Dr. Whitney Temple
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO KVRR) – Dr. Whitney Temple of Grand Forks died Monday after a battle with cancer.
In 2022, Temple was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare cancer that affected her spine.
Her husband, Joshua Temple, was arrested in April on several charges including domestic violence and endangering an eligible adult. According to court records, Whitney Temple made allegations of abuse during an emergency room visit. Joshua Temple is a Grand Forks contractor.
The police report says that Temple had visible bruises and lacerations on her body, and a further filing says that she suffered a compression fracture in her back, possibly as a result of the abuse.
An autopsy is being conducted, and police are waiting on the results.
