
LEONARD, N.D. (KFGO) – A man and woman from Lisbon were injured in a rollover shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 46 near Leonard, North Dakota.
The Highway Patrol says the 21-year-old woman was driving the SUV westbound when she crossed over the centerline and drove into the eastbound lane. She overcorrected back into the westbound lane, drove into the north ditch, and the SUV rolled, ending up on its roof in a nearby field.
A 23-year-old man was a passenger in the vehicle. He suffered serious injuries. The driver had non-life-threatening injuries. Both were transported to Sanford Hospital. Their names have not been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
