MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Two boys are in juvenile detention in Moorhead on charges stemming from a robbery Tues. afternoon in south Moorhead.
Police say the victim was planning to meet someone to purchase a gaming system after connecting on Facebook Marketplace.
When he arrived at an apartment entryway in the 1500 block of Belsly Boulevard, he was confronted by two boys who grabbed his money, pushed him and ran.
During follow-up investigation, officers located one suspect. The second boy turned himself in. Both are facing robbery charges.
Police have issued a reminder that there are several designated locations where people can meet safely to buy or sell property, including the Moorhead-Clay County Law Enforcement Center on 11th St. N.
