UNDERWOOD, Minn. (KFGO) – Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a crash early Wednesday near Underwood east of Fergus Falls.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says a driver called shortly after 2 a.m. to report her vehicle went off the road and was upside down in the water along German Lake Road. A deputy found the vehicle on its passenger side in the ditch with the driver trapped inside. The deputy broke the sunroof glass with a window punch and with help from Underwood Rescue and was able to free the driver from the vehicle.
