Death of baby in Moorhead considered suspicious

MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Moorhead police are investigating the suspicious death of a child.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of Belsly Boulevard shortly after 1 a.m. Police say the child was taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo by Sanford Ambulance where he later died. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with the investigation.

The body was to be transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office in St. Paul for an autopsy. Police have not disclosed additional information citing the ongoing investigation.
