ADEL, IA – A Bemidji, Minnesota woman jailed in iowa is now charged with the murder of the man she was living with in Faribault in southern Minnesota.
The Rice County Attorney’s Office has charged 32-year-old Arlene Bell in the stabbing death of 76-year-old Gary Lehmeyer. Bell was arrested driving Lehmeyer’s car in Dallas County, Iowa before he was found dead in his home Feb 5.
Bell told investigators she stabbed Lehmeyer repeatedly during a fight after he strangled and choked her with a dehumidifier cord.
