Christopher Moran
BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – A man is in jail in the Burleigh-Morton Detention Center facing reckless endangerment and aggravated assault charges.
Police say 34-year-old Christopher Moran stabbed his fiancée and chased another man with a knife in South Bismarck Saturday night.
When police arrived, a black SUV was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed and nearly caused a crash. The vehicle was pulled over by law enforcement and the driver was identified as Moran.
Officers on the scene spoke with a 36-year-old Bismarck woman, who had a stab wound to the lower abdomen. She told police that she and Moran were engaged and that he stabbed her. Her injury was superficial and did not require immediate medical attention.
A 41-year-old Bismarck man who was also on the scene informed officers that Moran was chasing him with the knife.
Moran has had numerous convictions related to domestic violence dating back to 2018.
