FARGO (KFGO) – NDSU has secured funding to extend their recently announced Tuition Award Program for eligible first year students beginning next fall.
Earlier this month, the university announced the scholarship program that will help first and second year students pay for college during the 2024-2025 academic year. Wednesday, they said funding from the NDSU Foundation will help new students entering in fall 2024 pay for their first two years of college.
The NDSU Tuition Award Program will cover base tuition and student fees for Pell-eligible North Dakota and Minnesota students who meet certain criteria and whose families earn $80,000 or less annually.
“We are thrilled to be able to extend this program and provide more support to eligible students interested in attending NDSU,” President David Cook said. “Providing access to a high-quality education and helping to fulfill workforce needs of the state is what our land grant mission calls us to do.”
