MOORHEAD (KFGO KVRR) – A Fargo man is accused of the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl at a home in Barnesville.
Police interviewed the victim in early October and she told them 32-year-old Jesse Meier had touched her inappropriately in January. The criminal complaint says when Meier stopped, he told her to not to tell her mom “or else.” During the investigation, Meier denied that he touched her inappropriately.
He appeared in Clay County District Court last week on a 1st degree criminal sexual conduct charge.
Bond was set at $200,000 without conditions or $100,000 with conditions. He has since bonded out and is no longer in custody.
His next court date is set for November 14.
