MOORHEAD (KFGO KVRR) – A longtime downtown Moorhead establishment is moving.
Vic’s Bar & Grill, a fixture in the Moorhead Center Mall, is moving to the location now occupied by Chumley’s on Main Avenue.
“Starting November 1, we will start the process of moving Vic’s to the space that was Chumley’s. We will be busy with kitchen renovations, painting, signage changes and moving our entire operation,” according to the announcement on social media.
“Please be patient with us as we move to the new location – we are excited that we will be able to continue operating Vic’s Bar and Grill in Moorhead and hope you will continue to support us at our new location.” At one time, Vic’s was owned by Vic Fergen, a member of the Moorhead City Council. It was later managed by his son, Doug.
Mall tenants have been told to vacate the mall before the end of the year.
Roers Construction is planning to tear down the mall and build a massive mixed-use development on the same site.
